Application

Malthoid® Damp Proof Course (DPC) is a 2 ply felt material impregnated with bitumen and coated
with fine sand. It is recommended for use as a moisture barrier between building elements. It can
be used as a vapour barrier for structural elements in contact or close proximity with the ground
when installed as per the instructions below.

Suitable for use as a:

• Moisture barrier under bottom plates
• Moisture barrier between timber jack studs and timber piles
• Moisture barrier between any wooden surface and concrete, masonry or aluminium.
